What Makes You Happy?

These series of photos that I have taken of people are about what makes them happy. This project was one of my favorite things to do with photography to this day. With each person I took pictures of, I would ask them what were a few things that makes them happy. I then used one of their ideas that was the most manageable. With using the three primary colors red, blue, and yellow as the background, it gave a feeling of warmth and happiness. By using the color that complimented both the person and their idea. Some of the ideas that people had were from their childhood, favorite food, and entertainment. While I was taking their picture I used a harsh lighting on the person. By doing this, the background obtained a fadeout look. When I thought of this idea I asked myself“What makes me happy?” My answer was taking pictures of my great friends. My goal after you look at these photos is that you will be reminded of all the things that make you happy in your life.
